Dawn Sears is the owner of a brash, emotionally convincing tone of voice that grabs a melody with impressive power — she’s type of today’s Wanda Jackson with only a contact of polish, or Brenda Lee with an increase of honky tonk feeling. Her exceptional debut didn’t receive very much an opportunity from her record firm, but she agreed upon with Decca Information after a year or two of singing tranquility in Vince Gill’s music group.
