Not to end up being confused using the German Dark metal band using the same name, Dawn of Dreams was formed in the Tyrol mountains in April 1994. Originally known as Steady Stench, the music group was compelled to reorganize when the drummer enlisted in the military. Changing their name to Dawn of Dreams, in November 1995, the group enticed the attention from the Candlestick label using a house studio demonstration. Their debut record, Amber, premiered in January 1997. Although they completed their second record within five a few months, Candlestick was going right through a transitional period after label supervisor Lee Barrett still left and the record went unreleased for the year. By that point, the band have been decreased to a trio. With Sebastian Goralik playing all of the guitars, Dawn of Dreams experienced a major change. While their earlier albums centered on an average grind-to-the-metal audio, their third work, Eidolon, incorporated traditional and electronic affects. While their earlier albums have used drum devices, Dawn of Dreams added a drummer, on mortgage from Polish Gothic group, Undish, if they documented their yet-to-be released 4th recording, Ei Dolon. Remarkably, Dawn of Dreams didn’t play its 1st concert until Sept 7, 2001, if they made an appearance at a Metal-Festival in Zirl, Austria.
