David Wolfenson

Guitarist/vocalist/songwriter David Wolfenson kicked off his saving career within the mid-’80s with an individual for the tiny Minneapolis label Bamboo America, “AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF Tension” b/w “Mountainland,” recorded beneath the name David Yale. No more interest ensued, nevertheless, and Wolfenson transferred to NY to focus on his songwriting. He came back to Minneapolis upon reading a good overview of his demonstration tape and performed club times, which resulted in a record agreement as well as the launch of his debut recording, Abbott Avenue, in 1994.
