David Vassalotti

David Vassalotti, who releases single materials as D. Vassalotti, can be an American lo-fi designer and co-founder of post-punk revivalists Products. A multi-instrumentalist who excels at acoustic guitar, he, along with vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Carson Cox and bassist Patrick Brady, shaped Products in Tampa, Florida in 2008. Their fuzzy, lo-fi debut, (Unusual Songs) at night, found its way to 2010. In 2011, Vassalotti released his initial solo record via Vinyl fabric Rites, an expressively angsty record that alternated between brash sound pop and wistful balladry. His band’s sophomore LP, Kids of Desire, premiered in 2012, and he once again implemented up with a single release a calendar year later; Night-People Information issued the Reside in Infinity EP in 2013. Products delivered Following the Result in 2014, and its own guitarist ready the completely one-man full-length Broken Rope for discharge via Hidden Eyes and Wharf Kitty Information in early 2016. A turbulent established, it assimilated digital noise, melodic electric guitar pop, a puppy, and Western european poetry and background into its expansive lo-fi.
