David & Steve Gordon took music lessons together if they were kids, and continued the shared interest through university and beyond. David performed the piano, clarinet, and flute, while Steve performed the piano, acoustic guitar, and drums. They both analyzed traditional music at LA Valley University and UCLA; in the Grove Music Academy, they extended their musical horizons by learning contemporary tranquility and jazz from well-known guitarists and keyboardists.
