David Rodriguez

Given birth to and raised in Houston, vocalist/songwriter David Rodriguez’s early affects included Lightnin’ Hopkins, Townes Vehicle Zandt and Lydia Mendoza; he was later on influenced by Jerry Jeff Walker. After an education in music, regulation and economics, he spent twenty years experimenting Austin. In 1984, he chucked the music existence to practice regulation and spend some time with his family members. He ran for the chair in the Tx Condition Legislature in 1990, but dropped. Rodriguez came back to music afterwards that year, launching a live time on cassette entitled Guy Against Beast. The record, evoking tones of Blood over the Tracks-era Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, obtained reputation in the Austin region. In 1992, DejaDisc digitally remastered the task, added an added bonus monitor (a duet with Lucinda Williams) and released THE REAL Cross.
