David Nagler

A Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist, manufacturer, and composer, David Nagler first produced his tag in the music business as the founder and frontman of electronic pop duo Nova Public. Since its inception in 1998, the group provides issued several EPs and LPs. Furthermore to his use Nova Public, Nagler acts as the musical movie director for Wesley Stace’s (aka John Wesley Harding) vaudevillian range show Cupboard of Miracles, and may be the host from the N.Con.C. piano club Sid Gold’s Demand Room’s well-known Oracle Present. In 2016, to celebrate the 100th wedding anniversary of poet Carl Sandburg’s debut collection, Nagler released the Carl Sandburg’s Chicago Poems LP. Released beneath the name David Nagler & Close friends, the collection highlighted 16 of Sandburg’s poems established to music by an 11-piece ensemble that included Chicago-based guests like Jeff Tweedy, Robbie Fulks, Jon Langford, Sally Timms, Kelly Hogan, Daniel Knox, Nora O’Connor, among others.
