David Mahler

Seattle-based composer David Mahler works together with tape to make unique, sometimes funny functions, from teaching the theme song towards the Mickey Mouse Club backwards (“Speech With Interpreter”), to parodying text-sound composition and its own Swedish root base in “(Singing in the DESIGN OF) The Voice from the Poet,” his many acclaimed composition. Mahler continues to be energetic in Seattle’s experimental music picture because the ’70s.
