David Dee

Mississippi-born guitarist/vocalist David Dee (blessed David Eckford) is a fixture over the blues scene of St. Louis for a lot more than 2 decades. Best-known for his 1982 local hit “Goin’ Angling,” he proceeds to perform along with his music group through the entire Midwest. Surviving in east St. Louis since youth, Dee sang gospel at age 12. Although he briefly moved along with his parents to Chicago at age 16, he came back the very first possibility he got, selecting employment with a number of vocal groupings. After portion a stint within the armed forces, he produced a vocal group, David & the Temptations. Although he originally tried his hands at playing keyboards, alto saxophone, and bass, Dee completely switched to your guitar in 1972.
