David Childers

Burly North Carolinian David Childers, who is definitely an attorney by trade, can be an acclaimed Americana artist who writes challenging, literary tunes up to date by heartland rock, country music, folk music, little towns, and lonesome highways. He also pulls passionate motivation and imagery in the Bible. 1999’s DIFFICULT EXPERIENCE State and 2001’s A sensible way to Die highlighted musical efforts (plus some co-production) from observed Nashville musician Duane Jarvis. The last mentioned album also highlighted nontraditional accents, like the sitar on “Likelihood” (performed by multi-instrumentalist Eric Lovell).
