David Berger

As a college student of jazz composing and planning, David Berger initially attended Berklee University of Music in Boston, subsequently heading on to research at Ithaca University, Eastman College of Music, and Manhattan College of Music, where he was among the leading users from the jazz structure and planning faculty until 1999. In 1988, Berger used post because the conductor and arranger for the Lincoln Middle Jazz Orchestra, which he kept until 1994, transcribing and organizing countless ratings of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn for the LCO’s shows.
