Dave MacRae

b. 2 Apr 1940, Auckland, New Zealand. Pursuing an appearance in 1971 with an record by Mike Maran, MacRae embarked upon a active period of program activity during that 10 years. His keyboards (generally electric piano) could be noticed on recordings by Back again Door, the Walker Brothers, and Potential Merritt AS WELL AS THE Meteors. Additionally, MacRae also discovered time to become listed on Ian Carr’s Nucleus, Robert Wyatt’s post- Soft Machine music group, Matching Mole, as well as the similarly short-lived Pacific Eardrum (along with his wife, vocalist Pleasure Yates). He also composed music for UK tv series, notably the Goodies and Loaf of bread, before moving back again to Australia where he caused his very own jazz trio.
