Bass guitarist Dave Ruler is a busy program, studio room, and recording musician in Europe because the mid-’70s. He started playing bass in the past due ’60s after learning electric guitar and contrabass in Louisville, KY. From 1964 to 1969 his dad, the dramatic opera tenor Adam King, was executing on the Bayreuth Wagner Celebration. It was right here that Dave Ruler attended get better at classes on performing. Classical music provides often inspired his composing. He proved helpful in Munich, Germany through the early ’70s with rings led by Mal Waldron, Tete Montoliu, Attila Zoller, Bobby Jones, Dieter Reith, Klaus Weiss, Charly Antolini, Toto Blanke, and Klaus Doldinger. In 1972 he toured Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia using the ethno-fusion music group Embryo. After playing on Donna Summer’s 1st major hit Want to Like You Baby in 1974, his placement like a soulful studio room bassist was founded. From 1976 to 1986 he played on 18 albums for the German vocalist Udo Lindenberg. From 1979 to 1980 he made up and created two 90-minute ratings for Udo Lindenberg’ movies Panische Zeiten and Super. In 1982 he received a platinum recording for the creation of Udo Lindenberg’s Odyssey LP. In 1977 he made up music for the jazz-rock LP Curt Cress Clan, and in 1978, he and Curt Cress co-founded the music group Snowball. From 1976 to 1987 he did concerts, radio, and Television recordings with Peter Herbolzheimer’s Tempo Mixture & Brass. In this stage he caused Dizzy Gillespie, Bobby McFerrin, Lionel Hampton, and Tina Turner. He toured and documented during 1985 using the fusion group Consortium, which presented Billy Cobham on drums. From 1986 to 1996, he toured and documented using the United Jazz And Rock and roll Ensemble acquiring Eberhard Weber’s place. From 1993 to 1995, he toured with Chaka Khan’s Western group and he taught as associate teacher for bass acoustic guitar in the Mannheim College of Music. Presently he is carrying out using the Algerian Jazz-Rai group Nassim.
