Dave Green

Biography

b. 5 March 1942, London, Britain. Surprisingly to get a bass participant of such skill and prestige, Green is certainly self-taught. His initial essential engagement as a specialist musician was using the Don Rendell – Ian Carr music group, which he became a member of in the first 60s. By the finish of the 10 years he had set up himself as a significant figure, having caused musicians as different as Stan Tracey and Humphrey Lyttelton. He also performed and recorded numerous front-rank visiting Us citizens who counted themselves lucky in having his solidity and flair in it. For some time in the first 80s he led his very own group, Fingertips, which highlighted Lol Coxhill, Bruce Turner and Michael Garrick. Through the entire 80s and in to the pursuing decades, Green continued to be on the forefront of United kingdom jazz, dealing with Peter Ruler, Didier Lockwood, Spike Robinson and a bunch of other United kingdom and going to jazzmen. An excellent timekeeper and extraordinary soloist, Green may be the essence from the worldwide jazz musician.
