Classical guitarist David Burgess studied music at Mexico City’s Estudio de Arte Guitarrìstico beneath the observed Argentine guitarist Manuel López Ramos, subsequently landing a complete scholarship to review in Italy with Oscar Ghiglia. An intermittent pupil of Andrés Segovia through the entire middle-’80s, Burgess also got top honors within the Andrés Segovia Fellowship Competition in NEW YORK, and placed initial within the Mexico City’s Ponce International Competition, Toronto’s Electric guitar ’81 competition and Munich’s 31st International Music Competition. A onetime instuctor on the College or university of Washington as well as the Cornish Institute from the Arts, with time Burgess resolved in NEW YORK, releasing his single debut Sterling silver Nuggets and Fool’s Yellow metal.
