Streatham, South London-born dirt designer Dave (aka Santan Dave) might only have already been 16 when he entered the dirt limelight, but his conscious lyrical design made him audio well beyond his years. Developing up, Dave was motivated to pursue artwork in some type. Acquiring cues from his old brothers, he originally tried his hands at computer animation before shifting to piano before finally buying learning to be a fully-fledged grime MC; however, his brothers would finish up serving lengthy jail sentences. To handle the extreme alteration with their lives, Dave burrowed also deeper into his music, leading to him to build up a socially conscious type of wordplay that established him aside from his peers. Despite needs to compose bars around age ten, it had been six years afterwards that Dave would make his first appearance, freestyling with an underground dirt route, Bl@ckbox, in 2015. In January of the next year Dave came back along with his first music video/one “JKYL+HYD,” cementing his popularity for deep subject material and ambitious lyrics. In the next months, Dave shipped two essential freestyles on BBC Radio 1. The initial was on Semtex’s 1Xtra display and the next on Charlie Sloth’s Open fire in the Booth. Several singles adopted, including a standout cooperation with Western London’s own increasing celebrity, AJ Tracey, on “Thiago Silva.” By Sept Dave was prepared to drop his 1st EP, Six Pathways. The discharge was successful in its right, but obtained even more interest when Canadian rapper Drake remixed the solitary “Wanna Understand,” getting Dave’s sound for an American audience.
