Indie folk music group Darlingside formed in ’09 2009 while going to Williams University in American Massachusetts. Several string players merging traditional, folk, and rock and roll, Darlingside also boasted a solid vocal existence from the begin, layering their tracks with lush, multi-part group harmonies. Coining their audio “string rock and roll,” they quickly set up themselves being a powerful live work, touring throughout New Britain to get their first self-produced EP. Their debut record, Pilot Machines, implemented in 2012, and the group slimmed right down to a drummer-less quartet. Reinventing themselves being a richly split string band using a crafty pop audio, Darlingside agreed upon with Nashville label Thirty Tigers and released their second LP, Wild birds State, in 2015.
