Dark Star

England’s Dark Celebrity was formed by 3 former people of Levitation — vocalist and guitarist Christian Hayes, bassist Laurence O’Keefe (the Wish Blister), and drummer Dave Francolini. Like their previous band (but certainly without guitarist Terry Bickers), the group’s audio features dense, complicated constructions and needling guitars. The trio debuted using the Graceadelica solitary in past due 1998 and adopted that with another solitary, I Am sunlight, in March of the next yr. The LP Twenty Twenty Audio appeared per month later on and was generally evaluated positively, but didn’t do very much commercially. Another solitary, About 3AM, backed the LP, as do some multi-format and remix singles. The music group underwent a feverish touring plan, including a stint starting for the Longpigs.
