Daphne & Celeste

Pop music continues to be coupled with dark, depressing, imagery by New Jersey-based duo, Daphne and Celeste. Offering the singing abilities of teens, Daphne Cruz (blessed: Sept 24, 1983) and Daphne DiConcetto (blessed: Dec 1, 1982), the duo is not universally recognized. Their functionality at Reading 2000 was ended after two music when audience associates began throwing containers onto the stage. Get together each other if they replied a newspaper advertisement placed by way of a music group searching for a vocalist, Celeste and Daphne started performing being a duo shortly soon after. After honing their abilities via street shows and commercials, both performers released their debut one, “Ooh Stay You” in Sept 1999. Reissued in January 2000, the tune increased to the 8th position over the pop graphs. Their second one, “U.G.L.Con.”, reached amount sixteen. Launching their first full-length record, We Didn’t State That, in June 2000, Daphne and Celeste continuing their commercial achievement making use of their third one, a reworked edition of Alice Cooper’s anthem, “School’s Out”, that they documented with different lyrics.
