The SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Weekly once described the music of Bay Area musician Danny Wayne as “Larry Graham and Queen on to the floor using the Raspberries” — a description Wayne has quoted in interviews — which accurately sums up his passion for hooky rock & roll having a funky undertow. Created Daniel Wayne Aaberg, Danny Wayne was created and elevated in Oakland, California, and 1st earned recognition like a vocalist, key pad participant, and songwriter using the garage area punk music group the Slashes, who released three albums for Birdman Information between 2003 and 2006. Following the Slashes called it each day, Wayne and longtime friend Mike “General Luau” Generalao (also a veteran from the Slashes) began focusing on a small number of projects, so when Wayne formed his personal music group using the name Danny Wayne & Pear, Generalao authorized on as business lead guitarist. The respectable L.A. indie label Burger Information offered to to push out a long-player from Wayne’ music group, and in 2013 they released the recording Pear on cassette (in addition they ordered some check pressings on vinyl fabric, but an effective LP release didn’t materialize at that time). After getting strong evaluations, the record was reissued by Burger in 2015 on LP and Compact disc. Adam went on to utilize San Francisco’s Once and Potential Band; they’ve offered as his support music group since he became a member of them on-stage for the Halloween 2013 concert, plus they cite Adam being a musical/religious advisor.
