Danny Douma

The guitarist, vocalist and chief songwriter of Southern California-based music group, the best Wha-Koo, in the past due-1970s, Danny Douma released an extraordinary solo album, Night time Eye, in 1979. Though it presented the all-star accompaniment of Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie using one tune, and Garth Hudson from the Music group and Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac pc on another, the recording didn’t generate much industrial curiosity. After touring with Fleetwood Mac pc, as a assisting act, for some of 1979, Douma faded into obscurity. Douma’s innovative acoustic guitar playing and songwriting had been necessary to Big Wha-Koo’s status among the spearheads of Los Angeles’ rock and roll picture.
