Daniel Stabrawa

Polish-born Daniel Stabrawa is among the leading orchestral violinists of European countries, a well-established chamber player and, since 1995, a growing conductor of chamber concerts. Stabrawa initial came to worldwide interest as the champion of several renowned violin tournaments. In 1979, he became concertmaster from the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Krakow. In 1983 he earned an audition for session being a violinist using the Berlin Philharmonic and became a member of that orchestra. In 1986 he became its primary concertmaster. Therefore he has often played single violin parts in the symphonic repertory in concert and in record, and in addition appeared being a concert soloist frequently with Western european orchestras. In the meantime, in 1984, his forerunner as primary concertmaster, alongside the market leaders of the next violin, viola, and cello parts of the Berlin Philharmonic, founded the Philharmonia Quartett Berlin, building the custom that its people be the main players of every from the orchestra’s string groupings.
