Daniel Ottensamer

Daniel Ottensamer can be an Austrian clarinetist. He went to the College or university of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, learning with Johann Hindler and Martin Fröst. In ’09 2009, he earned the Carl Nielsen International Clarinet Competition, and became the main clarinetist for both Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the Vienna Condition Opera Orchestra. Along with his dad, Ernst Ottensamer, and his sibling, Andreas Ottensamer, he created a clarinet trio, the Clarinotts, in 2005. Like a soloist, he offers performed using the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra, the Munich Radio Orchestra, as well as the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, amongst others. He documented Mein Wien, My Vienna for Sony Classics.
