Daniel Avery, aka Stopmakingme, began DJing indie music as an 18-year-old in his indigenous Bournemouth, Britain. It wasn’t until a vacation to Ibiza that he was influenced to spin home and techno, after viewing crowds available to dance to fresh and unfamiliar paths. He linked to Filthy Dukes through an area pub and spun in the synth pop group’s Get rid of ‘Em All golf club night time in London, which resulted in opening slots in the esteemed Fabric. Being a manufacturer and remixer, he created a raw, sturdy sound that included his like for unusual, alien elements.
