Daniel Ahearn

A singer/songwriter using a rustic contact that traverses adult alternative and Americana, Daniel Ahearn was originally located in Brooklyn, NY. There, he and his partner, Melanie Moser, had been members of rings including Guys and Burakumin. The last mentioned released an record, Early Mourning, in the Scientific label in 2000. Ahearn and Moser after that relocated to LA, where they produced the duo Sick Lit, which mixed country-folk and digital elements. Ahearn composed 11 from the 12 music in the group’s debut record, WACMusic, released by Badman in Sept 2002. It had been then I WANT You, released in Feb 2004, and Tom Luxury cruise, which Sick Lit self-released in 2006. In 2007, Ahearn started recording being a single artist, leading to his debut EP, Pray for me personally by Name, released by Riparian Information on June 17, 2008. His full-length debut under his very own name, GOOD WAY Home, arrived on a single label this year 2010. It highlighted the melody “I’LL Let You Move,” that was found in the 2011 Ivan Reitman intimate humor No Strings Attached. He teamed up with Mindy Jones for 2013’s Sirens, released as DA & the Jones. The name track was highlighted in the 2015 documentary Scorching Girls Wished, which Ahearn co-scored with Tyler Strickland. The film also included a duet between Ahearn and Rashida Jones (“Wished to End up being Love”). For the time being, he began performing in short movies, before a major part in the feature-length Inheritance, released in 2017.
