Dan Israel

Dan Israel began executing in punk rings and fronting organizations in Chicago and Austin (where he was named among the city’s 15 best songwriters in the 1995 Austin Music Honours poll). After two well-received albums along with his Minneapolis-based Americana music group the Cultivators, the vocalist/songwriter struck from his own using the 2000 Hayden’s Ferry discharge Dan Who? The Cultivators came back just with time for Like Ain’t a Cliche, his 2002 discharge that implemented a string of tour schedules with rings like Wilco, Freedy Johnston, and Tom Petty.
