Dalhous

Having previously released material on leading English underground label Blackest Ever Dark as Young Hunting, Dalhous may be the another incarnation of Edinburgh duo Marc Dall and Alex Ander. Sketching upon the same dark sonic affects as their earlier outfit, Dalhous’ audio consumes cinematic (specifically the movies of Jack Relationship and Jane Arden) aswell as wider audio textures. They released their two-track 10″ debut, Mitchell Heisman, on BEB in Dec 2012. The muscular consumer electronics and weighty bass undercurrent from the launch recalled experimental post-punk Coil and fellow labelmates Raime, and received crucial acclaim. In early 2013, they announced that their full-length studio room recording An Ambassador for Laing will be released in the springtime of that 12 months.
