Like a lot of memorable bands from the post-punk period, Dalek I REALLY LIKE You emerged from Liverpool, Britain, rising from the Eric’s Membership picture which also launched Echo as well as the Bunnymen as well as the Teardrop Explodes. Produced in the ashes of the group Radio Empty, Dalek I REALLY LIKE You was founded in November 1977 by guitarist Alan Gill and bassist David Balfe; while Balfe wanted to contact the music group the Daleks, Gill chosen Darling I REALLY LIKE You.
