Dakrya

Dakrya were created in Athens, Greece, in late 2004, when classically trained key pad participant Sophia X (aka Sophia Charalampous) made a decision to combine a slew of disparate music influences (rock, goth, progressive, symphonic, and artwork rock) having a theatrical demonstration. And in addition, this experimentation necessitated many demos, numerous staff changes, limitless rehearsals, and several a live show to become hammered into form — but, by 2008, it led to Dakrya’s debut recording, Monumento, which received very much praise because of its extremely unusual yet cautiously conceived musical idea.
