Home / Biography / Dagon

Lansing, MI’s Dagon isn’t to become confused having a Dallas-based hermetic dark metal band from the same name, while the greater northerly of both entities pursues a melodic mixture of thrash and loss of life metal instead. Produced in 2004, Dagon are comprised of Briant Daniel (acoustic guitar), Chris “Lance” Sharrock (acoustic guitar), Randall Ladiski (bass, vocals), and Jordan “Pickup truck” Batterbee (drums, vocals) — the final three which are also users of Christian metallic band Bestiary. Nevertheless, despite being authorized to a Christian label, Dagon’s lyrics just touch upon religious beliefs amid additional topics, as evidenced from the group’s produces to day: 2005’s Secrets from the Deep EP, 2007’s Paranormal Ichthyology recording, 2008’s Buried Treasure EP, and 2009’s Terraphobic recording.
