DAG is really a funk bar-band that earned a loyal following about their hometown of Raleigh, NEW YORK in the first ’90s. The original incarnation from the music group highlighted Bobby Patterson (lead vocals, bass), Brian Dennis (electric guitar, support vocals), Kenny Soule (drums, support vocals) and Doug Jervey (keyboardist). After spending many years gigging, the group ultimately earned the eye from the main labels; they agreed upon with Columbia, launching their debut record Righteous in 1994. It had been a modest local success and gained some reviews that are positive in national magazines. Following its launch, the group toured continuously and their lineup transformed somewhat, as Jervey remaining the group; he was changed by Kai Russell and Jen Gunderman. They finally shipped their second recording, House #635, in the summertime of 1998.
