Dafydd Iwan

Dafydd Iwan was among the initial successful music artists to emerge from the Welsh rock and roll picture. Although he promises, “You can find no superstars in Wales”, citing little viewers and minimal economic rewards, Iwan provides attracted interest despite his committment to performing within the Welsh vocabulary. Iwan’s biggest strike, “Yma O’Hyd (Still Right here),” released in 1981, is becoming an anthem in his homeland. Iwan provides continued to create this presence sensed, funding an independant documenting studio room, Recordiu Sain.
