Daddy Issues

Ever heard a thing that sounded a lot such as a great music group name that you were tempted to create a music group just so you might utilize it? That’s the way the feminist indie pop trio Daddy Problems first came jointly. In 2014, Jenna Moynihan was participating in a present at a D.We.Y. place in her city of Nashville, Tennessee known as the Plantation when she noticed someone wrote “Daddy Problems” in huge letters on the toilet wall structure. Moynihan was quite used using the term, convinced it should be the name of an organization that had made an appearance at the Plantation. Some online study persuaded Jenna that had not been the case in the end, so she made the decision she’d type a music group and contact it Daddy Problems. Moynihan curved up a set of like-minded close friends, Emily Maxwell and Jenna Mitchell, and although they didn’t possess much experience on the instruments, quickly Moynihan was keeping down lead acoustic guitar and vocals, Maxwell was playing drums, and Mitchell was their bassist, playing music that was component punk, component pop, and component grunge. Daddy Problems released an individual, “Pizza Lady,” in-may 2014, with “Ugly ONCE I Cry” pursuing in Sept. By the summertime of 2015, the music group had attracted the interest of Nashville-based indie label Infinity Kitty Recordings. The label offered Daddy Problems a rest by liberating an eight-song cassette, Can We Still Suspend, within their membership cassette series. The trio quickly struck a cope with Infinity Kitty, and a break up single with White colored Reaper premiered in Dec 2015. Daddy Problems devoted a lot of 2016 and early 2017 to live function, including trips with Tacocat and Diet plan Cig, and in-may 2017 they released their 1st full-length recording, Deep Dream.
