Da Outfit

Da Clothing is made up of MCs Hemp da Pimp and Split da Mack. Though Hemp was from San Antonio and Split hailed from South Central LA, their cooperation was born within the jazz cabarets of Sarajevo, where in fact the two close friends would freestyle on the vibes of regional Bosnian jazz combos. Ultimately, an organization was formed known as Da Heineken Twins, which became the Brews Brothers. Finally, Da Clothing solidified. Provided their improbable genesis, Da Clothing understood that their beats cannot simply be purchased at the part store. After tinkering with instrumentals from outside suppliers, Da Outfit made a decision to get it done themselves. Supa Tree Productions was made in an area at Hemp’s home, and quickly the duo experienced assembled plenty of beats and rhymes to enter a studio room. Bosnian electronica maker Adi Lukovac and his music group Ornamenti had been enlisted as co-producers and audio engineers; Shed Underground, Da Outfit’s debut, found its way to 2002 from Supa Tree Information. A collaboration not merely of sound but of ethnicities, Shed Underground became a record of what’s feasible when unlikely skills collide.
