An ardently political rap trio from your West Coastline, Da Lench Mob earned see for his or her breakout debut Guerillas in tha Mist. Created by Shorty, J-Dee, and T Bone tissue, the group debuted in 1990 on Snow Cube’s AmeriKKKa’s Most Desired recording. With Cube as professional maker, Da Lench Mob released Guerillas in tha Mist in 1992. Led by an incendiary video for the name track (in line with the film Predator), the recording became well-known within hip-hop circles, with confrontational monitors like “Independence Got an A.K.” and “Shed in tha Program” nearly as outspoken as Glaciers Cube himself. Though Globe of da Apes implemented in 1994, Da Lench Mob disbanded immediately after.
