D Is for Dragster

Following the 1997 breakup of Frontier Trust, drummer Joe Kobjerowski and singer Gary Dean Davis shifted to start out D Is perfect for Dragster that same year, by adding Steve Denekas (bass) and Jeremiah McIntyre (guitar). As the quartet continued to be using the tough country design of Kobjerowski and Davis’ previous music group, the Omaha four-piece debuted its only EP, Chrysler Solid Condition, through Ismist Information in 1997. But D Is perfect for Dragster split up the following season after a short Midwestern tour.
