Hardcore punkers Deceased Fucking Last (also called D.F.L.) are most widely known for the actual fact that Beastie Guy Adam Horowitz was once a short member. Made up of associates Monty Messex (electric guitar and vocals), Tom Davis (vocals), Tony Converse (drums), and Tommy B (bass), D.F.L. debuted in 1995 using the EP My Crazy Lifestyle in the Beastie Guys’ now-defunct Grand Royal label. The group made an appearance on Lollapalooza’s second stage for this period, before pursuing up with a set of full-lengths for Epitaph Information, 1995’s Proud to become and 1997’s Pleased.
