The music of Italian progressive rock-band D.F.A. became significantly organic in the years following group’s development. While their early repertoire, constructed by drummer/vocalist Alberto DeGrandis, motivated comparisons to United kingdom space rock rings, including Gentle Large and Green Floyd, their afterwards materials was enlivened by polyrhythms, cascading chord progressions, and jazz affects.
