Home / Biography / Cyclone

Formerly referred to as Centurion, Cyclone were formed in Vilvoorde, Belgium, simply by vocalist Guido Gevels and guitarist Pascal van Lint in 1981. By adding Johnny Kerbush (electric guitar), Stefan Daamen (bass) and Nicholas Lairin (drums), they originally had taken their cue from the brand new Wave Of Uk ROCK. They later turned to a far more thrash-orientated strategy, design themselves on Anthrax. They eventually negotiated a one-album agreement with Roadrunner Information and debuted with Brutal Devastation in 1986. The label didn’t renew the group’s agreement and Cyclone disbanded the next year.
