Cute Heels

Cute Heels may be the primary moniker of Victor Lenis, a DJ, maker, and label owner from Bogotá, Columbia. His recordings are seriously influenced by ’80s commercial and EBM, plus they range between uptempo minimal influx to dark electro-techno. He started releasing paths digitally by himself Black Leather Information label, which he founded in Colombia in 2007. The label quickly amassed a large number of produces by himself and also other performers, and he started releasing paths on other brands. His 2009 full-length debut Like and Hate made an appearance on American label Dark Montanas. His 2011 solitary, “Silence Complot,” spawned many remixes and helped Cute Pumps gain a global following, with compliment via electro-techno legends Dave Clarke and Juan Atkins. After shifting to Brussels, Lenis began Love Moderne, a label and event company centered on darkwave and minimal synth.
