Aden guitarist Kevin Barker’s single project, Currituck Region, named following a region in North Carolina’s Outer Banking institutions region, shaped in 2000 in Washington D.C.. The one-man music group weaved nation, folk, and pop sensibilities collectively, utilizing acoustic guitar, banjo, and melodica. In 2001, Barker shifted to NEW YORK with Aden’s Jeff Gramm. 2002’s Unpacking My Library Compact disc introduced the entire world to Currituck Region On the recording, Barker impressed many along with his deadpan vocals and warm, finger-picking acoustic guitar. The follow-up, Ghost Man on First combined experimental tones using the folky backdrop, carrying on the task with a stylish artistic eyesight and a fascinating selection of cover songs.
