Curly Mays

b. 26 November 1938, Maxie, Louisiana, USA. A nephew of Gatemouth Dark brown along with a cousin of Phillip Walker, Mays grew up in Beaumont, Tx, where he trained himself to try out acoustic guitar when he is at his early teenagers. He done the roads and in the night clubs around Beaumont until his break arrived in 1959 when he started a three-year stint using the Etta Wayne Revue. Over time, he also caused the Five Royales, Wayne Dark brown and Tina Turner. Over time spent employed in resort bands in NEVADA, Mays created his own music group in the middle-60s and came back to Tx, where he made an appearance regularly in night clubs from San Antonio to Houston. Veteran Tx bluesman Zuzu Bollin kept in mind him like a consummate showman blessed having the ability to play your guitar with his uncovered feet!
