Culver Kingz

A melodic AOR rock and roll/pop duo with root base in R&B and spirit, Culver Kingz will be the brainchild of music market vets Michael Thompson and Billy Trudel. The set first fulfilled in 1983 if they had been brought collectively by supervisor Steve Brooks and maker/engineer Wyn Davis to create the music group Slang. After spending 2 yrs looking to get the music group off the bottom, Trudel inked a cope with Chrysalis to provide as the business lead singer for any music group called the town. Immediately after, Slang captured the hearing of Weapons N’ Roses supervisor Alan Neven, who required the task to Geffen Information. With Trudel struggling to escape his agreement with Chrysalis, Thompson was pressured to generate another vocalist, Moon Calhoun, to front side the recently minted Michael Thompson Music group, who released their debut recording in 1987. Thompson and Trudel’s pathways had diverged, however they spent another three years ensconced in the music business, burning a bunch of big titles including Elton John, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Mötley Crüe, and many more. The reconvened in 2011 within their hometown of Culver Town, California — therefore the music group name — and made a decision to complete what that they had began all those years back. Drawing motivation from rings like Santana and Matchbox Twenty, Culver Kingz released their debut LP, THIS TIME AROUND, via Get away Music in 2016.
