The tight vocal harmonies and guitar-driven Latin rhythms of Cuba’s traditional music are preserved by Cuarteto Tiempo. Led by guitarist/vocalist, Ricardo “Richard” Gonzalez, the quartet acts a sizzling mixture of traditional guarachos and boleros and contemporary nuevo trova and salsa. Although they mainly perform in Cuba, Cuarteto Tiempo brought their infectious music to Japan in 1994.
