Dark digital trio Crypts combine dense synth noise with skittering hip-hop rhythms and menacing vocals to craft a sound as participating as it is normally eerie. The task started in Seattle as programmer Bryce Dark brown approached previous These Hands Are Snakes frontman Steve Snere to supply vocals for his home-modified synth and drum machine-based music, and extended to a complete band by adding visible musician Nick Bartoletti, who made light and video projections to improve the live knowledge. By 2011 Crypts used Crystal Castles, Zola Jesus, and Russian Circles, completing their initial album by the next February and putting your signature on towards the Sargent Home label 8 weeks later. The music group offered its initial video, “Luxury,” and follow-up monitor “Territories” by summer months, before its debut record, Crypts, that was made by Erik Bloodstream (Shabazz Palaces) and found its way to September 2012.
