Having almost equal levels of throaty shrieks and soaring choruses, Weep from the Afflicted are an aggressive yet undeniably melodic rock-band hailing from Kelowna, Uk Columbia, a city around three hours northeast of Vancouver. Arriving together in the wintertime of 2003, they quickly guaranteed spots over the choicest of displays possible; significantly less than a calendar year after developing, Cry from the Afflicted acquired scored schedules in traditional western Canada starting for rings like Misery Indicators and Bury Your Deceased. Their debut EP, entitled In the Shadows, premiered in Sept 2004 through Ethics Sectors, and even though Cry from the Afflicted — made up of guitarist Adam Johnson, vocalist Garrett Packer, bassist/vocalist Nik Wagener, guitarist Steve Lockhart, and drummer Troy Doell — certainly proved helpful hard to pass on their name and music, it could ultimately have too much to perform with sheer good luck that they found the attention of the interested label therefore soon. The music group issued the record Consume This Wasteland in 2006, even though out enjoying an end of this summer’s Warped Tour, a number of the group associates were unknowingly presented to repetitions from Solid Condition, the large music arm of Seattle-based Teeth & Nail Information. When the people finally understood who these were speaking with, a duplicate of their most recent record quickly exchanged hands and label repetitions had been sufficiently impressed. A cope with Solid Condition was subsequently agreed upon and Cry from the Afflicted’s next work, The Unveiling, surfaced in August 2007.
