A side-project of Deftones singer Chino Moreno and Much guitarist Shaun Lopez, Crosses sees both highly influential alt-metal icons joining forces inside a task that targets the greater soothing part of their respective groupings. With a far more downbeat audio, Crosses audio stresses and isolates the tips that produced their rings stand in addition to the remaining pack, emphasizing disposition and melody over raw hostility. In 2011, Moreno announced that the set had finished several tracks and acquired programs to self-release them as some EPs with + (Crosses 1) showing up later that season, ++ (Crosses 2) arriving in 2012. Their initial full-length work, the self-titled ?? ?? ?? , appeared on Sumerian Information in 2014.
