Crome Syrcus

Lee Graham (vocals/bass/flute); John Garborit (business lead acoustic guitar), Ted Sheffler (keyboards), Dick Powell (harmonica) and Pole Pilloud (drums) composed this enigmatic ‘intensifying’ SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA group. Their lone recording, The Love Routine, presented an ambitious, prolonged title-track where the musicians attemptedto compress a lot of the town’s experimental musical designs. But not wholly convincing, Crome Cyrcus had been applauded for his or her ambition and in 1969 earned a Bay Region songwriting award. Nevertheless, the group dissolved quickly afterwards.
