Crestwood

Rightfully explaining their music simply because “blues-informed” and “jazz-inspired,” the Canadian duo Crestwood remain a pop/rock outfit in mind. After leading the Saskatoon rings Seven Amounts and Sexually Drawn to Fireplace, vocalist and songwriter Steven Maier produced a six-piece rock-band dubbed Crestwood this year 2010. That same calendar year they released their debut record, THE FILMS. A 2011 one-off duo edition of Crestwood offering Maier and music group bassist Gent Laird proceeded to go well enough it became the state lineup that same calendar year. Laird turned to acoustic bass, the jazz and blues affects came to leading, and the music group hit the street with a couple of primary music along with quirky cover variations, like a nightclub-cocktail edition of Britney Spears’ “Baby ONCE MORE.”
