Creed

This US blues-based boogie band was formed in 1977 by vocalist Steve Ingle and guitarist Luther Maben. Enlisting the solutions of Hal Butler (keyboards), Wayne Flynn (bass) and Chip Thomas (drums) these were quickly authorized by Asylum Information. Their self-titled debut made an appearance in 1978 and was significant for “AGAIN AND AGAIN”, an epic southern-style acoustic guitar workout, similar in stature to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Freebird”. Struggling to appeal to enough media interest, the band split soon after the album’s launch.
